reVamp is a level editor for Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, known in Japan as Akumajou Densetsu. Coded in VB6, this utility reads all data from the ROM and supports both the US and Japanese versions.
Version 1.0 users should upgrade to 1.0a. Any ROM hack made with v1.0 should have anomalies in the special object data if any changes were saved in vertical sections. To fix the problem, look for strings of 00 values (8 bytes or more, in the vicinity of A1A9~A6F8 for CV3 or A17A~A6C9 for AD) and replace those with values from an unhacked ROM. Ideally, you should also replace bytes that come after the 00s, up to 30 additional bytes, because there's a chance an end byte (FF) may have been erased there. Sorry about the inconvenience and thanks for using the utility.
